Rooted In Family Tradition

Long before Gallodoro's Taste of Italy became a destination for farm-fresh Italian cooking, there was Gallo D'Oro Farm. Founded in 2005 by Dan and Shantell Rinderle, the farm grew from a shared love of gardening, livestock, and family traditions passed down through generations. The farm's name honors Shantell's Italian heritage. Her family name, Gallodoro, translates to "Golden Rooster," a tribute reflected in both the farm's identity and the restaurant's commitment to authentic Italian hospitality. The rooster featured in our logo is inspired by Gallina, the very first chicken raised on the farm and the beginning of a journey that continues today. What started as a small garden and a single hen has grown into a thriving five-acre farm home to chickens, goats, sheep, and miniature donkeys. Every season brings new harvests, fresh ingredients, and opportunities to share the bounty with our community.
